EGAN GRADUATION ACTIVITIES

The Graduation Ceremony will take place Wednesday, June 10, at 11 am at Egan.  To help our 8th graders celebrate their graduation, the graduation committee has organized two events sure to be crowd-pleasers:

• The Grad Night Party is Friday, June 5th from 7:00-10:00pm at the LAYC
• The field trip to Raging Waters is Monday, June 8th during school hours

You can sign up for these two activities in one simple process.  Please visit our easy online sign-up site at Graduation Celebration 2015.  The password is in the BBC.  The deadline to sign-up is May 15.   Our goal is 100% participation from all our graduates.

GRAD NIGHT PARTY

Students will be treated to a fun filled evening on Friday, June 5th at the LAYC (Los Altos Youth Center) starting at 7pm. 
Every year, the very creative graduation committee comes up with a secret theme for the party.  Your student will discover this year's theme as they make the grand entry to the LAYC.  The students will dance, play carnival games, foosball, basket ball, ping pong, chess and more...  There will be something for every student to have fun and celebrate! They will also enjoy a great food/treat selection.  Surprises will be given out throughout the evening by our DJ to make this evening memorable. 
Pick up time from this event is 10pm. 
Recommended attire: semi formal... it is their graduation party!  Let's celebrate in style.

RAGING WATERS

Students will arrive to school at regular time.  Buses will depart from Egan 8:45am. 
Lunch will be provided at Raging Waters at 11:45pm:  burger, hot dog or veggie burger based on the choice students made during the registration process. 
Buses will depart from Raging Waters around 2:00pm and arrive at school at regular dismissal time. 
No items can be left in the buses as buses will not stay onsite between drop-off and pick-up. 
Each student has to bring a swimsuit, a towel, flip-flops, sunscreen and a water bottle.  They can also bring any personal items such as swim shirts if desired, but no electronic or expensive items.  Students can bring some limited extra cash for vending machines and extra snacks. 
Chaperones will not be responsible for supervising personal belongings.
