Citizens' Advisory Committee for Finance (CACF) oversees long-term district financial issues, including facilities needs; monitors expenditures of parcel tax funds and makes recommendations on major, long-term financial decisions to the Board.

Representatives are appointed by local civic groups at Board request: Other members may be appointed directly by the Board of Trustees each year

Curtis Cole is a 35 year resident of Los Altos. He and his wife raised two daughters with help from the local public schools and expensive colleges leading to a successful launch to 21st century independence. Curtis has volunteered in the community starting in the early 1990's at the Senior Center. He joined CACF around 2004 and performs treasurer duties for KLASS, School Board Candidates and bond measures as necessary.
Gary Hedden joined CACF in February, 2018. Hedden, a Los Altos resident since 1975, retired in 2009 after 37 years in pharmaceutical research. He is active in the community with GreenTown Los Altos, the Los Altos History Museum, the League of Women Voters, the Affordable Housing Alliance and the Los Altos Community Coalition. In 2022 Hedden was named Los Altan of the Year.
Stella Kam is a member of CACF by board appointment. She has one daughter attending Covington and another one enrolled in TK in LASD. She is the Covington PTA Treasurer and League of Women Voters observer assigned to LASD. She studied economics and previously worked in finance.
Jon Michaelson is a long-time resident of Los Altos who has practice law in Silicon Valley for over 45 years. Among other things, he has decades of experience representing independent schools on the Peninsula and private colleges in California.
Kellie Riccoboni is a CACF member by board appointment. She is an LASD alumnus having attended Loyola and Blach, and she has two sons who attend a local private school. Kellie has her CPA license with a background in audit, and she currently works in finance at a local tech company.
Lori Sevcik is a board appointed representative on CACF. She has two children who were both educated in the district from K-8th grade. Lori has served in several volunteer PTA roles while being a parent in LASD. She also continues to substitute teach for LASD in TK-6th grades. Lori enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and running.
Laura Teksler is the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation representative on CACF. Her two grown sons are LASD alumnus and, while a LASD parent, she served in various PTA roles, as well as President of LAEF. She continues to serve as a community volunteer in various roles.
Jill Williams is a fourth grade teacher at Springer Elementary School. She has also taught second, third, and fifth grade over the past 28 years in the district. She is also a product of LASD schools, having attended Almond and Egan.
Peipei Yu joined CACF in 2021 through board appointment. She has two daughters who attend LASD schools. Peipei has served the community in various roles, including the Los Altos Mountain View PTA Council President, providing support to 3 school districts - Los Altos School District, Mountain View Whisman School District, Mountain View Los Altos High School District. Peipei has led Strategy and Operations teams in tech.

Meetings
CACF meets monthly during the school year, generally on the last Wednesday of the month at 7pm in the iLearn Studio at the District Office (Covington School site).
Report Card to Community: As part of its parcel tax oversight responsibility, CACF annually prepares a report card which is mailed to all residents in the district
